Flirt! Squeeze Me Lipgloss ($12) provides ultra shine as it moisturizes lips without a sticky effect. Sticky lipglosses are no fun! This lipgloss has a wear time of about 4-5 hours and doesn’t become sticky at all. As the name says you really have to squeeze this tube to get the contents out since it is more of a “thicker” lipgloss but on the lips it doesn’t feel tacky or heavy at all. I like that the gloss doesn’t come out of the tube so easily, so you won’t have excess product but it takes a little more squeezing effort than I’d like. I was able to try this in Pink Champagne which is a cotton candy pink with glitter, it looks clear and shinyon my lips.

I am using Conair’s Infiniti curling iron 1″ I like this better than some cheaper once because it doesn’t snag your hair which can hurt. Use hairspray at the end to hold the curl longer.

You can get great samples at Walmart. Do a search for “free samples” and pick your product. All you need to do is provide your mailing address to receive your sample. I have signed up for many samples from Walmart before and have not received any spam mail from third parties. The products they offer are the ones you can purchase in the store. They provide a lot of beauty and health related products so its a great way to try a new product before spending some money on it. The products I have received in the past are: shampoo/conditioners, lotions, crest whitening strips, dog food (for Alfie!), and much more. They even have samples for men which you can get for your significant other to try. I highly recommend you to check out the site about every month which is about how often they post new products.
Olay in shower body lotion ($5, 8.4 fl oz) Get dry itchy skin after shaving in the shower? Olay’s in shower body lotion can fix that in less than a minute. I don’t like shaving as it is, it takes too much time but to get out of the shower and spend a few more minutes putting on body lotion that sucks. Who has the time to make sure all the lotion is rubbed in and wait for it to absorb. With the in shower body lotion you can moisturize your legs in 30 seconds and hop out of the shower.
Clinique Skin Supplies For Men Face Scrub ($16.50, 3.4oz) is the best face scrub ever. Yes it says for men, it is designed to help improve men’s skin for shaving but I have been using it and its been great. Just because it says for men or women on a product that doesn’t mean you should limit yourself to what you can use. This face scrub is cheaper than most of the good exfoliators made for women that you can find at Sephora and you get more product. My favorite thing about this scrub is it tingles on your skin after you wash it off. The scrub particles are small and round so it does not scratch your face. It does a great job of removing all the dead skin cells off and youre left with silky smooth skin.
MAC Bronzilla ($14) is a frosted mid-tone yellow brown color, it looks more like reddish brown though. I have been looking for a nude like color that applies evenly on my lips. I have tried MAC’s lipstick in Freckle but it just sinks into the lines on my lips and looks bad. The finish of this lipstick is metallic looking but not too shiny. If you want more shine you can apply lip gloss over it. The lipstick has a sweet sugary smell, moisturizing and is not sticky which is a big plus!
Flirt! Dreamy Eyes Eyeshadow ($12) is a crease-proof eyeshadow that applies smoothly with a palette of buildable color choices in a wide variety of finishes, 35 different shades! What I enjoy about Flirt! is that they have samples available at Kohl’s unlike drugstore brands in which you are unable to test out different colors to determine if you like it. The texture of the eyeshadow when applying with the fingers is very satiny smooth and looks very pigmented however when I use a makeup brush that is not the case. Also, how cute is the case I like it just because its so unconventional than the other brands out there. Z Palette ($14 & $20) Are you boxes full of individual eyeshadows and blushes and running of out space? You can solve storage problem with the Z Palette. It is very similar to the palette offered by MAC but allows you to have more 4 eyeshadows in a small palette. Yes it may cost a little more than the MAC Palettes but you can put different shaped pans in your palette and not just restricted to the small circular pans because the base of the palette is magnetic. If the pan is not magnetic you can add a magnet to the bottom of it and place it in your palette. You can mix and customize eyeshadows, blush, and even foundation in your palette. It is made of a highly durable matte paper which won’t crack or break like MAC’s Pro Palette. The lid is also magnetic, the magnet is so strong that if you hold the palette upside down nothing will fall out. My favorite part? It has a clear acrylic viewing window unlike MAC’s bigger 16 eyeshadow palette. Continue Reading »
