Revlon ColorStay 12 Hour Eye Shadow Quad in Silver Fox ($7) is a compact quad with a color palette that you usually don’t see often. To me this is more of a cool palette with the inclusion of the gray shadow. All colors are pigmented enough that the true color shows up well without an eyeshadow base. They also apply very easily and evenly. The white is the only one that is shimmery while the other 3 shades are more of a satin finish, kind of in between matte and shimmery. After a long day the colors don’t look faded and are just a nice as when they were first applied. This is a good palette in all aspects but the color palette just isn’t for me, I don’t get inspired by the colors.

Revlon Matte Suede Nail Polish ($5) is a collection of 4 matte colors. The reds and green remind me of holiday colors. The matte finish is a new polish finish that is starting to grow in popularity. Revlon lets you get that look at a cheaper price. The finish looks dull but you can easily turn it into a regular shiny polish by applying a clear topcoat. You’ll only need about one coat to get an even coverage which means your nails will dry faster. When you apply the color it looks like any other polish and very shimmery but once it dries completely you will see the matte texture and the shimmer is more subtle.
Ruby Ribbon - burgundy red with silver shimmer
Fire Fox – bright cherry red with subtle red shimmer
Emerald Green – forest green with subtle green shimmer
Powder Puff - probably best used for a french manicure, dull white and you’ll need more than 3-4 layers

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick ($7.99) from the new Suede Rhapsody features 6 new shades in 2 finishes. The matte shades are housed in silver labeled lipstick containers while the super lustrous finish is in a gold tube.
- Primrose – looks mauve pink but applies more like pink, the darkest pink of the 6
- Mink – almost a milk chocolate brown, probably best for those with dark skin for a nude lip look
- Coral Berry – a reddish coral color
- Stormy Pink (matte) – color applies almost like Primrose but is matte
- Sky Pink (matte) – bubble gum pink color
- Smoked Peach (matte) – a true orangey coral color, lighter than Coral Berry
