Effortless Extensions ($70) is a new and revolutionary way to have long hair in a matter of seconds. Whether you are looking for added length or added volume these extensions are the perfect way to achieve a celebrity kind of look. Effortless Extensions are available in both Human and Synthetic hair, in styles and colors to compliment every woman. Effortless Extensions offers you the ability to add length, and volume, without damaging your hair.
The synthetic hair can be treated the same as you do you own hair, it should be washed and conditioned using your own brand of shampoo and conditioner. Wash in warm water, with a small amount of shampoo, to not scrub, or twist hair, rinse thoroughly. Using a small amount of conditioner, comb through hair, starting at the ends working up, with a wide tooth comb, wait for 3 to 4 minutes before rinsing. Pat dry with a towel, do not twist or wring, let air dry or use a blow dryer. When styling you can use a curling iron, flat iron, and crimper. Heat settings should be set on High for flatiron, and medium to high for curling etc. Always use a light spray of water on dry hair before styling.
Effortless Extensions Application:
- Making sure the clear monofilament line, is on top and the wefts are on the bottom, place the Effortless Extensions on top of your head, above your ears, so that the wefts sit behind your ears.
- Using your fingers, pull the hair on the sides of your head, in front of your ears and behind, then around the back of your head, out and around the monofilament and hair extensions. Keep in mind, that the less hair you pull over your extensions, the better they look, and lay. You are looking to sandwich the extensions between your hair beneath, and over. Pull about a ¼ of your hair over.
- Using your fingers you will pull your hair on the top and sides of your head around and over the clear string, designed to disappear into your hair line.
- Comb and blend with your own hair
The brush supplied with the extension is not like most brushes. It has loops to prevent damage and removal of the hair. Gentle strokes through the hair will make it look soft and clean. You do not need to use very much effort to brush through the hair. Some strands of hair may come off onto your brush so to extend the life of the extension brush slowly and carefully. Effortless Extensions also sells a travel case ($15) to keep your extension in and I would highly recommend purchasing that to keep the extension in good condition.

Psssssst Dry Shampoo Spray ($5, 4oz) is an unscented spray for normal to oily hair to absorb any excess oil. This can be used when hair is clean or dirty. When clean, dry shampoo will give your hair volume. This is the only dry shampoo you’ll ever need!! Forget about the expensive ones from Oscar Blandi and the one from Tresemme. Voted as Allure Editor’s Choice product and it’s no wonder why this is an amazing product and affordable
This one is near perfect and will be perfect for those beauties with light hair. Psssssst Dry Shampoo is cheap and works instantly not leaving your hair dirty looking. On my dark hair if you use too much your hair will start turning white from the product but you can simply brush it out to evenly distribute the product. This might be available at drugstores but I got mine at Wal-Mart. From what I have seen unfortunately Target doesn’t carry this.

Who wants to spend $60+ on coloring you hair at the salon. Here are some of my tips and tricks on how to color your hair in less than 20 minutes. Watch the video for more information. Good Luck!
- Use a trash bag and cut holes for head and arms to protect your clothing
- Wear a spaghetti strap tank to easily remove it without staining once you are ready to wash your hair out
- Apply body lotion to areas around your hairline and your arms to prevent haircolor from staining your skin
- Section your hair to ensure full coverage with color
- I recommend using L’oreal’s Excellence Creme because their hair coloring kit has a brush attachment for the bottle making it easier to apply color

Can’t get that look like the models and celebrities you see on TV and magazines? Watch my video to learn the easy technique to getting that look. I am using Conair’s Infiniti curling iron 1″ I like this better than some cheaper once because it doesn’t snag your hair which can hurt. Use hairspray at the end to hold the curl longer.

Tresemme Fresh Start Dry Shampoo ($5, 5.7oz) allows you to keep your hair clean in between shampoos. What is dry shampoo? Its purpose is to remove excess oil around the roots of your hair that makes it look dirty and weight down your hair. Dry shampoo is not like a traditional shampoo you use with water and that becomes soapy. It is usually available in an aerosol can that can be sprayed directly onto the roots, so its like a hairspray can. There is a powder in the spray which absorbs the oil. Tresemme’s new product is formulated with mineral clay which is the “powder” to absorb excess oil. It claims to “zap oil and odor in between washes…and gives hair a clean look and feel with gorgeous volume.” It is a citrus scent and is also safe for color treated hair.
