NYX Auto Eyebrow Pencil ($4.50) has an easy application pencil tip. The color applies smoothly and blends expertly for natural looking-brow color. The tip is shaped like an oval giving you a more skinny tip to fill in the ends of your brows. A built-in brush brush allows you to blend color and style your brows. I really like how there are 8 different colors to choose from ranging from light brown, black, to charcoal that you can pick out the right color for natural looking brows. I love everything about this eyebrow pencil, including the price!

Revlon Suede Rhapsody Eyeshadow Quad – Silver Fox

Revlon ColorStay 12 Hour Eye Shadow Quad in Silver Fox ($7) is a compact quad with a color palette that you usually don’t see often. To me this is more of a cool palette with the inclusion of the gray shadow. All colors are pigmented enough that the true color shows up well without an eyeshadow base. They also apply very easily and evenly. The white is the only one that is shimmery while the other 3 shades are more of a satin finish, kind of in between matte and shimmery. After a long day the colors don’t look faded and are just a nice as when they were first applied. This is a good palette in all aspects but the color palette just isn’t for me, I don’t get inspired by the colors.

Estee Lauder Holiday 2010 Pure Color Lipstick

Estee Lauder Holiday 2010 Pure Color Lipstick ($22) and Pure Color Gloss ($20) comes in 3 different rich red shades for the holiday season. At a first look the red lipsticks look pretty and attractive because it as a gold glitter on it but after applying you’ll discover that it is only glitter over spray and not a part of the color. Both lipsticks provide medium to full coverage easily in 1 application and has a pleasant fresh fig scent. Extravagant Red Lipstick, the lighter red is the typical bright red but not too bright that it still looks good for all skintones. Extravagant Berry Lipstick is the darker berry red which I find a little too overpowering for my skintone. I think Extravagant Berry would complement darker skintones best. Apply the color slowly because I found that if I make a mistake and tried to wipe the color off it does not completely come off and there is a hint of the color left of the skin.

The Pure Gloss in Star Ruby is a glittery red that gives lips a hint of color and lots of shine. The lipgloss is very sheer however if you apply extra layers it will look more red. I do not particularly like the big pieces of glitter in the gloss because in my opinion I do not associate glitter with a mature look. I would have really liked this shade if they had put some sort of shimmer into it other than glitter to give a similar effect. This gloss also has a very sweet fruity smell. Finally, the best part of this gloss is it doesn’t feel sticky.

Revlon Multi-Use Palette

Revlon Multi-Use Palette ($7) is part of the Suede Rhapsody collection. The multi-use palette includes 4 shades for eyes & cheeks and one shade for lips. All housed in one small compact and also includes a lip brush. This is available until January 2011.

Recommendation: A nice mini compact that has all the colors for your eyes, cheeks, and lips. A plus is it even includes a mini lip brush. A lot of wearable colors but none of the colors really wow me enough to want to go out and get the palette.

Recommendation: Another wonderful eyeshadow palette with versatile complementing colors for the Holiday Collection. The shadows are very smooth and easy to blend. If you like to use browns on your eyes you’ll like this palette including every color from a highlighter to a contour.
