Conair ExtremeSteam Professional Hand Held Garment Steamer ($50) has a dual heat technology that provides faster, hotter steam for better results. Providing a dry concentrated steam it allows you to penetrate heavier fabrics and this steamer is effective on all types of fabrics, linens and drapes. The best part is it heats up in 60 seconds so you don’t have to wait long if you’re in a hurry. The water container holds enough water for up to 15 minutes of steam time. The steamer has a low and high temperature option with a built in trigger switch for constant steam. It also comes with 3 attachments: brush, creaser, and soft cushion bush making it easy to steam many different types of fabrics.
The lights on the back of the steamer will indicate when the steamer is ready for use. The orange light indicates that it is one and the green light will illuminate once the steamer is ready. Thick cotton takes a little longer for the steamer to completely dewrinkle but thin and soft fabrics unwrinkle as soon as you pass the steamer over it. I know this review isn’t very consistent with beauty related products but I was looking to buy a garment steamer and wanted to share my experience with this product. As usual Conair’s products never disappoint.
