Senna Form-A-Brow Kit ($43) creates the perfect brow in seconds for faint, disappearing brows and sparse brows. The brow stencil shapes work for almost all brows. It defines the face beautifully, based on the professional 3-point brow shaping technique taught in the finest beauty schools. 5 shade kits are available to match you.
The kit contains:
- Form-A-Brow mirrored compact
- 3 brow powder colors to mix for the most natural hue
- 2 Mini Brow Brushes for coloring and blending brows naturally
- 4 Brow Shaping Stencils: Fine, Natural, Full and Xtra Full for shaping brows
Before this kit I was using Smashbox’s Brow Tech which comes with with one powder shade and wax. I have seen these multiple brow color kits around Sephora like Anastasia’s and I thought why would I buy this kit when I only need one shade. After reading the instructions in Senna’s kit I understood that there are multiple shades for me to build up to the right color. Using one shade may not give you the most natural look.
The first step is to choose the stencil that best matches your current brow shape. You will use this stencil as a guide to fill in your brows and for shaping with a tweezer. Using the brush provided start with the lightest shade and fill in the brows between the stencil. If you have lighter hair and that shades matches then you can stop, but if you need your brows darker continue on with the next dark shade and fill it in. Don’t apply too much powder because it will be harder to lighten than to darken. If it is still too light use the darkest shade. After removing the stencil there may be excess powder on your skin which you can remove with the twirl brush. Gently brush off the color to lighten and blend your brows.
The brow shape is perfect! Using the stencil makes filling in the brows so much easier than free hand which was what I have been doing and disliked each time I did my makeup. If you happen to lose you stencils Senna has replacement ones available for $10. The stencils provided were tested to work for the majority of women and natural brows are not perfectly symmetrical so you may need to adjust the stencil placement slightly to fit over each brow which I experienced.
The kit is so small and sleek making it easy to transport anywhere and the stencil fits inside the compact so you won’t loose anything. The brushed in this kit also got the job done well which I did not expect since I feel that most brushes in kits don’t work well and are harsh on the skin. With this kit I don’t dread this part of my makeup routine which used to be the longest and now it’s the quickest. I am so glad I was introduced to this brow kit and I know you will too. This kit will last you for a very long time since you will not need to use very much powder and if necessary you can use an eyebrow pencil to extend out the ends of your brows. Well manicured brows make a big difference in your appearance so keep them beautiful with this kit.
