Estée Lauder’s Pure Color ($20)and Pure Gloss ($18.50) is part of the new Fall 2010 Blue Dahlia Collection. Each with many limited edition shades to choose from ranging from pale pink to pink-purples. The new Pure Color offers a smooth finish with hydration and lasting shine. It also has a lip-plumping technology improves lip condition creating a moist-plump fullness after 4 weeks of continuous use. Each Pure Color Gloss shade comes in one of three distinct, multi-dimensional finishes: shine, shimmer, and sparkle with sheer to medium coverage.
The Pure Color applies to easily in just one application, you do not need to apply multiple layers like some lipstick to get an even coverage. The coverage is like a lipstick but without the stickiness of some and the color lasted longer than some of the lipsticks I have used. I really like how it felt and am looking forward to trying the other shades available at the counters. It also has a light fruity smell that reminds me of guava. I recommend this over the Pure Gloss for pigmentation and the smooth finish.

The Pure Gloss is just like my latest lipgloss review last month but they have release more shades with their Fall 2010 Collection. The color applies evenly but does feel slightly tacky unlike the Pure Color. Twilight Petal is a pretty shimmery pale pink that gives your lips lots of shine but I still like the Pure Color better.
