Recommendation: Amazing product, I am going to get more of this once I run out. Although it is pricier than drugstore self tanners, with St. Tropez you can get a dark golden tan in one day without the strong self tanner smell and the color lasts for a long time.

This self tanner works fast, faster than any self tanner I have used before. You see results in one day, a full shade difference. My skintone was light to begin with and after one day my skintone was noticeably darker. The color is very natural looking and does not have an range shade. Once you stop applying the self tanner the results last for about a 6-7 days depending on how often you exfoliate. The self tanner smell is very faint and is not overwhelming like other brands which is great.

The pump can be locked and opened easily so you can take this bottle of self tanner with you anywhere. The color that came out was alarming at first, it was a dark brownish green color. When rubbing the tanner in make sure you apply it very evenly, I suggest rubbing it in circles to get an even application. Once rubbed in the it leaves your skin with a hint of color so you look a little tanner.

To get the best results you should prepare your skin by exfoliating with St. Tropez Tan Optimiser Body Polish for the smoothest results. Dry skin will cause streaks and an uneven application when self tanner is applied. It is suggested that you add moisturizer to the rougher skin of ankles, feet, elbows, and knees to prevent oversaturation of the tan. Avoid doing any activities that will make your skin wet or sweat for at least 4 hours to get the best results. Reapply a couple of times a week to maintain your tan. Remember to throughly clean your hands after application to prevent color on your palms.
