Caudalie Cleansing Water (3.4oz, $14; 6.7oz, $26) is a soap-free, three-in-one cleanser, makeup remover, and toner for face and eyes that’s perfect for all skin types – even the most sensitive. “Caudalie is the first beauty company to use and patent stabilized grape seed polyphenols in skincare and steers clear of parabens, phenoxyethanol, mineral oils, and artificial colorings to protect your skin and the environment. Balancing science and nature with a touch of luxury, Caudalie is always on the cutting edge of antioxidant technology.” This brand is perfect for those looking for skincare containing antioxidants and still gentle on the skin.
This product feels very gentle on the skin and removes makeup well with its micellar water, which captures dirt like tiny “dirt magnets” and sweeps it away without rubbing the skin, while soothing and hydrating active ingredients work to add radiance. It is formulated without parabens and sulfates, is dermatologist and ophthalmologist tested, and also suitable for contact lens wearers. I have had no issues using this while wearing my contact lenses.
To use, soak a cotton pad with the cleansing water, and apply to your face to remove makeup. The best part is no rinsing necessary, a plus after a long night out and you can just remove your makeup quickly without taking a trip to the sink! This is the perfect one step cleanser for your face and eyes and can be also used as a toner. I just love how effortless it is now for me to take my makeup off which I used to hate because I didn’t like to wash it off in the sink and also get some of my hair wet. I can remove it now even while laying in bed.
The liquid is clear and does not irritate my skin at all. It also dries very quickly and has a faint grape smell. I would recommend getting the big bottle to get a better deal but even with the small bottle which is a nice travel friendly size you will probably get at least 2 months use out of it is used once a day.
