Burt’s Bees Beeswax Lip Balm ($3, 0.15oz) is a natural lip balm loaded with coconut and sunflower oils, rich in vitamins and essential fatty acids, to nourish, condition and soften lips and beeswax to seal in hydration. “They even added peppermint oil for a refreshing tingle. Take your pick of an old-fashioned yellow tin or a recycled plastic tube. Apply balm liberally to your lips as often as needed, particularly in dry, cold or windy conditions.”
I have heard a lot about this lip balm and never got around to trying it until now. It just didn’t feel right to pay $3 for a lip balm when I usually get Chapstick for $1. This lip balm is clear so there is no color on your lips like Chapstick making this suitable for men and women. This lip balm also comes in a tin for the same price but with double the amount so if you like this product I suggest getting the tin to get the most out of you money. When I applied this you can definitely feel the wax on your lips. It is not slippery and smooth like how Chapstick feels which was disappointing to me. I like being able to rub my lips on each other and have then glide effortlessly. The wax in this lip balm prevented me from doing that but as mentioned before the wax helps to seal in moisture. My favorite part of this is the tingly feeling you get from the Peppermint oil when applied, the sensation lasts for only a little bit.
