Cashback Programs – Get Paid to Shop Online, I got back $400!

If you’re an online shopper you must sign yourself up for the cashback programs. I have received $400 over three years, that’s $400 you’re missing out on!! How it works it you get a percentage of your purchase back in the form of a check through the third party program. You must click on the link in the third party’s site for it to redirect you to the actual site you will make a purchase from (ie: Nordstrom, Sephora). These sites are able to pay you with a portion of their commision that they get from the stores that you make a purchase from. Depending on the third party’s agreement with the retail site your cashback percentage varies. For this reason I am signed up for a few cashback programs.

Also, if you’re an ebayer there’s a cashback for you also! By using Bing cashback as you can see my $80 purchase at Sephora.com (12% cashback) gave me back about $15 so that makes me purchase really $65. It’s almost like I have a Sephora discount code to use.

The ones I use are in the order of what I believe give the best cashback are:

Bing

Is powered by Windows so if you have a hotmail or msn email account you do not need to create a new account to use this program. Save each time you shop with Bing cashback. Every time you make an eligible purchase, we’ll email you to confirm your Bing cashback savings. You can request your cashback about 60 days after your purchase (the waiting period varies by store) and with at least $5 in your cashback account. I have been paid $40 since March of 2010.

Extrabux

Extrabux pays its members by check, sent through postal mail, and electronically via PayPal which you request from your account when you want it. I just requested a check for $120. They will only send out payments once you have at least $10.00 of available money (this includes cash back ). Cash back on a specific purchase will become available once the return time on that purchase has passed. Return times vary depending on the merchant but are generally (but not always) 60-90 days. Once the return time has passed we will deposit your earnings directly into your account and your earnings will become available for withdrawal. I have been paid a total of $180 since 2007.

Ebates

Every 3 months, we send you a cash back payment for purchases posted during the previous quarter based on the schedule below. But if you’ve earned less than $5.01 cash back, we’ll carry over your money to the next check. Bonus Rewards do not count toward the $5.01 minimum. The term “Bonus Rewards” includes monies earned as a Sign-up Reward or Tell-A-Friend Bonus. Payment can be in the form of a check, through PayPal, or a charity/organization/family member. I have been paid a total of $177 since 2007.

I like your post. Been using cash back sites for a while now. Another good suggestion is to compare cash back sites with a site like http://www.cashreporter.com to ensure you get the most $ back. Keep up the good work.
