China Glaze Vintage Vixen Nail Polish Review and Swatches

China Glaze Vintage Vixen Collection The majority of these shades were very easy to apply with the exception of 1 which was uneven due to the glitter in it. As I mentioned earlier the colors are beautiful, all very wearable colors. There were only a couple in this collection that did not impress me. I don’t know how I can wear all these colors unless I wear a color on each finger The finish on these shades are glossy and shiny and the glitter in all the bottles also give it even more lustre. All these colors look best with two coats of polish.

Pass: Riveter Rouge

Recommendation: All the colors are beautiful, you’ll love them all with the exception of Riveter Rouge and Swing Baby. With 12 colors to choose from one end of the color spectrum to other there will be at least on color in this collection that will be perfect for you.

St. Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Lotion

St. Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Lotion ($30, 4 fl oz; $40, 8 fl oz) is a salon-inspired formula specifically created to provide the richest, deepest, long-lasting tan. Infused with conditioning aloe vera for a long-lasting color, simply smooth the lotion on for an ultra-even tan that lasts. This self tanner has a fragrance technology that reduces the odor of DHA by 70% removing the tell tale sign of self tanner.

Recommendation: Amazing product, I am going to get more of this once I run out. Although it is pricier than drugstore self tanners, with St. Tropez you can get a dark golden tan in one day without the strong self tanner smell and the color lasts for a long time.

International Makeup Artist Trade Show (IMATS) 2010 Pasadena, CA

IMATS ’10 was held again this year in the Pasadena Convention Center. There were a lot of people at the convention this year but it seemed like there were less people there than last year. I went on Saturday to scoop up the best products from the many makeup brands there. A lot of the brands there had their products at a discounted prices up to 40% off like Make Up Forever, MAC, Bobbi Brown, Senna, NYX Cosmetics, and more. Another benefit from attending the show was I got to sign up for professional discounts from brands like Urban Decay, they even gave out a free product just for signing up. I was also able to buy a lot of makeup brushes from Crown with most at about $3-$6 up to $15.
