Mario Badescu’s Collagen Moisturizer SPF 15 ($22, 2oz) is an ultra-lightweight, daily moisture and moderate sun protection all-in-one. Collagen-rich formula protects skin from moisture loss and keeps skin smooth, plump and healthy without the use of heavy oils. To use, apply the moisturizer on clean skin before sun exposure all over the face avoiding the eye area.  It is best to reapply frequently to maintain protection and after perspiring or swimming. What is Collagen? Collagen is a protein found in skin and breaks down as we age. Meaning the skin loses its elasticity and begins to sag and wrinkle. One of the contributing factors to collagen loss is also due to exposure to UV rays. I am not sure exactly how Collagen can be reintroduced and incorporated into the skin but being that I am still in my 20s I still have more Collagen in my skin than older women.
