Epicare ($17) is a tool to remove facial hair with its wire spring which pulls hair out of the root without harming the skin like other hair removal methods. Waxing can burn the skin and remove the first few layers of skin and depilatory creams are just stinky and sometimes doesn’t remove any hair (in my experience). Here’s a video a made a while about it for more information on the product and how to use it.
This product is a great alternative to threading which can cost you about $10 after tipping. What they use is a twisted cotton thread and roll it over areas with hair to remove it. Since the hair is removed at the follicle it will take a little longer to grow back than shaving. Threading is a much more time efficient way to remove hair vs. tweezing each hair. It takes me less than five minutes to remove all the hair from my face. The Epicare is however not very efficient for the eyebrows due to its width. I wouldn’t recommend you to hair it or you might get patches.
When using the Epicare I recommend using it with a clean face so that you won’t have any bacteria that will cause pimples after. Remember to wash your face after or use toner to remove any bacteria that might have been on the springs. Don’t forget! I did once and had a few breakouts. Also remember to wash and sanitize the Epicare after each use. Do not stretch it or you will ruin the product. Loose springs will not remove any hair. It is recommend that the Epicare be replaced every 6 months to maintain its effectiveness. Although it is $17 you will get more use out of it in 6 months than spending $10 twice to get threading done by a professional.
So that you can enjoy this product as much as I do I will be giving away a few Epicares courtesy of Moana!! To support her please visit her website to purchase an Epicare, they come in different colors. The item ships from CA and will arrive in one day if you live in CA and in 2-5 days depending on your location, and the best part is shipping is FREE in the US. For international orders shipping is $1 which is still very cheap. Yes I realize there are similar products on ebay for much less, but that comes from Hong Kong. In my experience I don’t buy anything from ebay if the item is not located in the US. You may be paying less but shipping will take more than a week and you don’t know how good the quality is. Plus, I don’t know if its safe to use with all the lead issues found in products in Asia. Better be safe than sorry. Moana sells authentic Epicares and they have great customer service! Right now there is a special of 2 Epicares for $30 with a coupon code hs0706 , so you and your friend can both try it at a discount price at www.moanaonline.com
Now to the part you have been waiting for, how to enter the giveaway. To be selected for a free Epicare you must leave a comment below and follow me on Facebook or Twitter.
